Impact of Iron Pyrite Nanoparticles Sizes in Photovoltaic Performance

With rising energy demand and depleted traditional fuels, solar cells offer a sustainable clean option. In recent years, due to its acceptable band gap, high absorption coefficient, inexpensive cost, iron pyrite (FeS2) is popular material for cells. Earth abundance nontoxicity further boost photovoltaic possibilities. The current study examined the influence of sulfurization at 350–400 °C on layers fabricated using spray pyrolysis. morphology size from TEM confirmed XRD results synthesizing FeS2 with an average particle 10–23 nm °C, respectively. direct gap calculated by DFT as function temperature was found be consistent experimental findings, 0.87 eV (0.87) 0.90 (0.95) 350 400 We high-performing ITO/ZnO/FeS2/ MoO3/Au/Ag, obtained excellent quality nanoparticles nanostructures pyrite, which improved method preparation growth parameters.
